Independent Living Solutions Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Childcare Assistant (Casual) to support Aisha, a delightful young lady born in 2007. Aisha enjoys a range of activities such as YouTube videos on dancing and make-up, sewing, tennis, swimming, shopping, going to the cinema, and theatre.

Aisha has Cerebral Palsy which affects her right upper limb, and she experiences cognitive delay. However, she is independently mobile and communicates verbally. Your role will involve supervising and supporting Aisha in accessing the community, ensuring her safety at all times, and reducing her anxiety in social situations.

The successful candidate will have a cheerful and caring attitude, be friendly and calm, and be willing to share similar interests with Aisha such as shopping, sewing, and sports. You will also need to be comfortable with dogs, as Aisha's family home has a small dog.

The estimated salary for this role is £16.50-£17.50 per hour, depending on the day of the week. Benefits include 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata, pension, and free DBS check. Our company provides induction, relevant training opportunities, regular clinical supervision/review meetings, and ongoing support from a dedicated Case Manager and HR department.
