About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Specialist to join our EngineeringUK team. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining test cases, developing automation scripts, and ensuring high-quality software releases.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand feature requirements, develop and automate test cases, and analyze results. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing efficient automated testing strategies, collaborating with engineers to resolve issues, and driving quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create stable and reusable automation of test cases for new features against our mobile apps.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for new features.
  • Troubleshoot issues down to the root cause and create detailed bug reports.
  • Prepare precise Test Completion reports for management to review and approve the release(s).

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, computer science, or equivalent quantitative field.
  • Experience in manual testing and working as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of Java, C#, or Javascript, and experience with debugging and automation testing tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum based on location.
