Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Critical Systems & Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering organisation at Baxter. The successful candidate will be responsible for sustaining and continuing the development of all manufacturing and support processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform supporting operations such as water management and watch keeping functions to ensure continued operations.
  • Comply with EHS/GMP/GDP/company and corporate policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Perform operator-based duties alongside planned maintenance activities to ensure plant operations are running safely and reliably.
  • Collaborate on projects to support departmental performance.
  • Review and develop maintenance tasks to ensure plant reliability and minimise downtime.
Requirements
  • Experience in mechanical/electrical systems, including fault finding, PLC controls, low-voltage controls, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Operator watch keeping experience on utilities and auxiliary support equipment, LOTO procedures, IPAF, harness, confined space, MEWP preferably.
  • Purification experience such as reverse Osmosis, ion exchange processes, VC distillation.
  • Steam system operation and maintenance experience, including steam production, condensate recovery and heating systems, boiler house compliance.
  • Compressed Air Systems and process control experience.
