Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety guidelines and regulations
    • Conduct risk assessments and implement preventative measures to maintain a safe working environment
  • Facilities Management:
    • Support with facilities management, including controlling contractors and arranging permits to work
    • Respond effectively to situations requiring external contractor assistance
  • Health and Safety Systems:
    • Develop and maintain health and safety management systems and procedures
    • Coordinate risk assessment activities, including record-keeping
    • Investigate accidents in a timely manner
Requirements
  • Qualifications:
    • Nebosh General certificate as minimum
    • Desirable - OHSAS 18001 experience
  • Skills and Experience:
    • Experience of working in an automotive or logistics environment is advantageous
    • Ability to communicate and deal with a variety of people
    • Previous exposure of working in a health and safety capacity ideally within logistics/warehousing or manufacturing
