Teaching Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Academic Maths Instructor to join our team at Zen Educate. As an Academic Maths Instructor, you will be responsible for creating engaging learning environments and fostering students' love for the subject.

About the Position

This is a full-time position that involves developing and implementing comprehensive lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards. You will assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and observations, providing constructive feedback to support their development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement high-quality lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and encourage critical thinking.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, providing regular feedback to support their growth.
  • Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
  • Incorporate a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Organise extracurricular activities related to Maths to enhance student engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve instructional practices and share resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour.

Requirements

  • A degree in Maths, Education, or a related field is essential.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the English language curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Experience in teaching Maths at the secondary level is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in lesson planning and record keeping.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on educational best practices.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is £150.00-£210.00 per day. This is a competitive rate that reflects the importance of this role in supporting the educational journey of our students.
