Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Get Recruited (UK) Ltd. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing end-to-end accounts for a portfolio of clients within the sports and entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a first-class accounts service for a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare statutory accounts, including profit and loss accounts and balance sheets, to the highest standard.
  • Assist with general bookkeeping duties on an ad-hoc basis, ensuring seamless financial operations.
  • Complete business tax and VAT returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Liaise regularly with Senior Managers to provide updates on timescales for assignments, ensuring effective communication and project management.
  • Act as the first point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships through consistent communication and exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified or part-qualified with a view to completing qualifications.
  • Experience of working within an accountancy practice is essential, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and industry standards.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience of using an ERP system or accounting software would be an advantage, but not essential.
