Job Description

Job Title: Theatre Practitioner

Job Summary:

Frontline Healthcare is seeking a skilled Theatre Practitioner to join our surgical team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our operating theatres, providing exceptional patient care, and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare equipment and assist with surgical procedures to ensure a safe and efficient operating environment.
  • Provide postoperative care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the recovery process.
  • Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues and patients.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to our high standards of documentation and compliance.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest techniques, technologies, and best practices in theatre nursing.

Requirements:

  • Certification or qualification as a Theatre Practitioner (Scrub/Recovery/Ortho etc)
  • Experience working in a surgical theatre setting, with a strong understanding of surgical procedures and instruments.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and composed demeanor.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with additional certifications or qualifications in relevant areas (e.g., Anesthesia, Orthopedics) a plus.
