Senior Philanthropy Manager

About the Role:
Venn Group is seeking an experienced Major Donors Lead to join their team in London. As a key member of the Philanthropy and Fundraising department, you will be responsible for developing and executing a 5-year strategy to increase major donor income and secure multi-year donations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to grow major donor income, focusing on securing significant donations and nurturing long-term relationships with donors.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential supporters and influencers, identifying new prospects aligned with the charity's values and goals.
- Manage a portfolio of donors across the UK and Ireland, making strategic donation requests and tailoring proposals for projects, programs, and unrestricted funding.
- Design and implement personalized stewardship programs to nurture long-term donor relationships and ensure donors feel valued and engaged.
- Lead a team of 6 fundraisers and oversee an income of approximately £2m, ensuring effective management of expenditure and budgeting.
- Monitor and report income, ensuring compliance with regulations and legislation, such as GDPR, and maintaining best practices in fundraising.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Extensive experience in major donor fundraising, with a proven track record of securing significant donations and increasing income streams.
- Strong relationship management and emotional intelligence, with the ability to effectively engage senior donors and stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and foster collaborative relationships.
- Skilled team leader with experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
