Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at Black Fox Solutions.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time maternity cover position based in a care home in Newry, Northern Ireland.
  • The successful candidate will provide person-centered care to a diverse resident group, contributing to a positive and supportive working environment.
Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments according to care plans, ensuring proper dosage and timing.
  • Monitor vital signs regularly, conducting health assessments to evaluate residents' well-being and promptly address any deviations from normal ranges.
  • Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding, fostering residents' independence and comfort.
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments, documenting observations and updating patient records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team and physicians, communicating changes in residents' conditions and participating in care planning discussions.
Requirements
  • NMC Registered.
  • Previous experience within a similar role.
