Job Summary

Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users, including Freddie, a 12-year-old boy with complex care needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with mobility and positioning, including transfers and repositioning
  • Support with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and medication management
  • Engage in activities that promote Freddie's physical, emotional, and social well-being
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans

Requirements

  • Previous experience in healthcare or a related field
  • Ability to provide complex care, including tracheostomy care, ventilation management, and gastrostomy care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
