Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Freight Forwarding Supervisor to lead our Customs and Freight Forwarding team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in logistics and freight forwarding, with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of customs and freight forwarding professionals, communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines.
  • Provide support to management, including recruitment and training, and motivate the team to achieve their best.
  • Oversee team member work to ensure quality and guideline compliance.
  • Ensure company brand materials and physical working spaces meet and exceed company presentation standards.
  • Provide quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints.
  • Deliver the operational day-to-day management of the Customs and Freight Forwarding team.
  • Assist the Customs Manager with internal and external training.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and support team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
