About the School:

A well-established and highly regarded Primary school in Aldershot is seeking an experienced teacher to join their Year 3 team. The school is known for its supportive and inclusive learning environment, which encourages children to thrive both academically and personally.

Role Overview:

As the Year 3 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons to a class of enthusiastic learners. You will play a key role in fostering a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere while maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress to ensure high achievement and personal development.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where all children feel valued.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents and carers.
  • Uphold the school's values and contribute to its community-focused ethos.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 3.
  • A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Ability to inspire and engage pupils of varying abilities and backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Experience in planning differentiated lessons and providing tailored support to meet the needs of individual learners.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
