We are seeking an experienced Product Innovation Director to join our team at Urban Digital Recruitment Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of new products and merchandise that resonate with our diverse audience segments.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned product lead who has experience taking products from ideation to launch and has a proven track record of successfully launching multiple products in parallel.
You will work closely with our influencers and brand hosts to identify and capitalize on product launch and development opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with Influencers: Working closely with brand hosts (influencers) to identify and capitalize on product launch and development opportunities.
- Innovative Merchandise Development: Leading the ideation and creation of merchandise that resonates with diverse audience segments.
- Product Methodology Creation: Building the foundations for a scalable product engine that serves as a key monetization driver across our talent slate.
- Lifecycle Management: Overseeing the entire product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with brand values from concept to launch, and managing post-launch reviews to inform future iterations.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
- Proven experience building both physical and digital products from the ground up, ideally within the media, content, or entertainment sectors in a start-up/SME environment.
- A strong understanding of influencer marketing and trends in consumer products.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple initiatives across varying demographics.
- Creative thinking and a passion for crafting compelling product experiences.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
