Job Description:
Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Surgical Care Specialist to join our team in an Orthopaedic Scrub role. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting Consultants with surgeries of varying complexity and specialism, including orthopedics, cosmetics, gynaecology, and ENT.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in scrubbing for Consultant-led surgeries, assessing patients' health and well-being throughout the process.
- Develop care plans that cater to individual patient needs, considering the care pathway, perioperative risks, and overall wellbeing.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless surgical operations and effective patient care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- Current ODP/Scrub Nurse qualification and NMC or HCPC registration.
- Significant experience in orthopaedic scrub settings, with a strong understanding of surgical procedures and patient care.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
