Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at York Teaching Hospital Facilities Management (LLP). The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems within our facilities.

Main Responsibilities

The Electrical Technician will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs to electrical systems
  • Conducting inspections and testing to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Providing technical support to other teams within the hospital
  • Collaborating with colleagues to resolve electrical issues

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need:

  • A trade-specific engineering apprenticeship (3-4 years) and relevant experience
  • A current driving license with no more than 12 points within any 3-year period
  • Inspection & Test (2391), LOLER, Asbestos, Confined spaces, and First Aid Training

Desirable Qualifications

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Ventilation (CP)
  • Pressure Systems (SP)
