Interim Financial Accountant Position

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing company for an experienced Interim Financial Accountant to support the completion of their year-end accounts. This remote role offers a competitive daily rate and immediate start.
The Role:
As the Interim Financial Accountant, your key focus will be leading the preparation and consolidation of year-end accounts, ensuring compliance with FRS 102. You will work closely with the finance team and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely reporting during this critical period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Year-End Consolidation: Lead the consolidation of group accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
- Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors, preparing required documentation and addressing any audit queries efficiently.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and finalise financial statements for review by senior management.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial reporting complies with relevant regulatory requirements, including FRS 102 and UK GAAP.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance and other departments to ensure accurate data gathering and smooth reporting processes.
About You:
We are looking for a fully qualified accountant with extensive experience in consolidating group accounts. You should have strong knowledge of FRS 102 and UK GAAP, as well as proven experience in coordinating audits and handling year-end processes. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently are also essential.
