Job Description

Snap Inc. is a technology company committed to improving the way people live and communicate. We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Manager, Regional Security Operations to join our Global Security Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Protect and support team members and assets by coordinating with the Global Security team, EMEA business leaders, and other business process service providers.
  • Develop and implement procedures for security operations, including best practices, directives, and standard operating procedures.
  • Manage the security technology program, including cameras, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Lead security vendors, including onsite guarding services, technology and systems support, and special event security.
  • Collaborate with partners on physical security and technology design for new office spaces.
  • Manage the annual operating budget and execute security missions within budget.
  • Prepare and conduct security and safety awareness training.
  • Conduct threat analysis and security risk assessments for Snap operations.
  • Support business resiliency, emergency response plans, communications, and crisis management plans.
  • Support Snap's environmental health and safety program with audits and site assessments.
  • Responsible for quality control of all products and reports, and quarterly program metrics.
  • Build strategic partnerships with local law enforcement and interagency security leaders, and plan security incident exercises.

Requirements

  • Leadership skills with a focus on customer service, teamwork, and self-starter demeanor.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working in security, medical, emergency services, law enforcement, military, or customer service is helpful, including an understanding of the regional political and security landscape.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional schedules, including holidays, nights, and weekends, and travel up to 50%.
  • Demonstrated ability using security technology and computer systems, including Google Suite, Lenel access control systems, and CCTV platforms.
  • Sophisticated understanding of incident response, crisis management, incident management, and emergency response.
  • Knowledge and/or direct experience creating security intelligence-based products.
  • Professional, eloquent, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
  • Ability to maintain correspondence, discussions, and materials with the strictest confidence.
  • Ability to seek problems strategically, creatively, and desire to create and build new processes.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Experience leading and scaling security operations programs.
  • Proven experience in security, risk management, or law enforcement & military with physical security, people, and vendor management responsibilities, or related experience in a corporate setting in the EMEA region.
  • Consistent track record to lead and empower people, including remote employees.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to respond quickly to security, safety, and sensitive situations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASIS CPP and/or an internationally recognized Security Management certification.
  • Bilingual to support EMEA regional operations, specifically proficient in French.
