CNC Turner - Setter, Operator, Programmer Opportunity

JRS Associates Ltd is partnering with a leading manufacturer to fill a key role in their production team. We're seeking an experienced CNC Turner - Setter, Operator, Programmer to join our team and contribute to the success of our client.

The Role:

We're looking for a skilled professional with a strong background in CNC machining, vertical turning, and programming on Siemens controls. The successful candidate will have experience working with a wide range of metals, including soft, hard, and exotic materials. They will also have a strong understanding of precision tolerances and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The Package:
  • Competitive salary: £34,500 to £40,000 per annum
  • Days shift (Mon to Thurs, 7:30am - 4:30pm & Friday, 7:30am - 12:30pm)
  • Overtime available paid at 1.5x
  • Holiday entitlement: 33 days (including statutory)
  • Company Sick Pay Scheme active after 1 year of service

Requirements:
  • Apprenticeship trained, time served, NVQ level 3, or higher
  • Experience with Vertical Turning (VTLs)
  • Experience of online programming on Siemens controls
  • Experience manufacturing components for the Nuclear, Power Generation, and Aerospace industries
  • Experience of working to tight precision tolerances
  • Experience working with a wide range of soft, hard, and exotic metals
