About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Education and Training Team as a Clinical Training Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the delivery of training programmes within our pharmacy department, providing support to trainees and all staff involved in their supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Lead Pharmacist, Education & Training in the co-ordination, implementation, development and delivery of training programmes for pharmacy trainees.
  • Work closely with senior members of the pharmacy E& T team and the wider pharmacy team to develop and support learners and supervisors, and to ensure an effective, inclusive and innovative learning environment and culture.
  • Assist with the co-ordination of cross-sector, undergraduate and work experience placements.
Requirements
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a UK Pharmacist.
  • Experience of staff training and supervision, including appraising performance and identifying training needs.
  • Comprehensive experience as a clinical pharmacist practitioner, including a solid grounding in all aspects of hospital pharmacy practice.
