Job Title: Principal Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team at Aeropeople Limited. As a key member of our Electrical Verification Team, you will play a crucial role in the verification and validation of our power systems.

About the Role:
  • Technical point of contact for other engineers and support with developing and mentoring other team members
  • Ensuring the team operates efficiently and effectively in meeting project timelines and objectives
  • Overseeing the planning, execution and monitoring of engineering
  • Collaborating with multi-discipline teams, suppliers and stakeholders on matters related to the compatibility test facility
  • Preparing technical reports, progress reports, and presentations, communicating results and advising recommendations
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement electrical power systems designs
  • Conduct compatibility testing of electrical equipment and power electronics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience in electrical or power engineering
  • Knowledge of high power and medium voltage power systems and distributions
  • Knowledge of compatibility testing of electrical equipment and power electronics
