About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Edinburgh Zoo on a flexible, casual basis. As a Catering Assistant, you will be part of a passionate and friendly team working in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of tasks associated with basic food production & preparation, customer service, and supporting operations while adhering to all Health and Food Safety requirements.
  • Contribute to a high level of customer care by greeting customers with a smile and serving them with pride.
  • Assist colleagues in a willing and positive manner, including assisting with other duties as required.
  • Comply with Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.
Requirements
  • A passion for delivering outstanding service and a 'can-do' positive attitude.
  • Strong and confident communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Excellent people and teamwork skills.
  • Availability to work at least one weekend day.
