We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Nursing Workforce Development Manager to join our team at Leaders in Care. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and lead the training function for our nursing and care workforce, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.

Salary & Benefits

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary of up to £75,000 per annum, reflecting their experience and qualifications. In addition, they will enjoy a range of excellent benefits, including a bespoke bonus structure, direct pathway into a Director-level position, bespoke onsite and in-house development, and continuous clinical support.

Key Responsibilities

The main purpose of this role is to support and develop a nursing and carer workforce through clinical practice and implementation of relevant education and development pathways. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering patient-specific training sessions;
  • Managing a team of practice educators who provide face-to-face clinical training for internal and external care staff;
  • Participating in regular audits to ensure the effectiveness of training;
  • Leading on the development of training presentations, lesson plans, and competency documents.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Registered Nurse qualification (RGN/RSCN);
  • At least 2 years' post-registration experience in a similar role;
  • The ability to develop face-to-face clinical training for internal and external care staff;
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
