Event Operations Manager Job DescriptionAbout the Role

We are seeking an experienced Event Operations Manager to join our team at RunThrough. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of our mass-participation running events, ensuring high standards are maintained throughout the preparation and execution of events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support the delivery of cutting-edge and professional mass-participation running events.
  • Complete daily tasks of event management, including event planning, venue management, and risk assessments.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with venues, councils, traffic management contractors, and businesses.
  • Create and update event management plans and risk assessments.
  • Conduct official course measurements for new event courses.
  • Lead the course team on event days, ensuring courses are correctly set up and packed down.
  • Passionate about physical activity and running.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely during the week.
