Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer to join our team. As a Field Engineer, you will assist construction project team members in various areas, including preparation of field-related reports, scoping, estimating, procuring, and submittals.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist with daily reports and other field assignments; write scopes of work; job walks; project buyout support; procurement of subcontractors, materials, and equipment; prepare AutoCAD as-built drawings and operation and maintenance manuals.
  2. Assist in the development of detailed line-item takeoffs and pricing; enter line items into Unit Price Book software using RS Means or other estimating tools.
  3. Prepare bid documents for subcontractors; assemble quotes for review; gather safety information; track progress payments and invoicing; prepare subcontracts.
  4. Help develop and maintain project schedules.
  5. Ensure compliance with Centennial's Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) guidelines, and local requirements (OSHA, USACE EM385.1.1, etc.).

Responsible for driving between project sites that are often miles apart or from the assigned office location. Performance of required job duties will be in an office environment along with visits to construction sites under various weather conditions.

The physical demands include: walking on uneven terrain, sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, frequent use of hands, occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, squatting, or reaching, and lifting/moving up to 25 pounds.
