The Role

We are seeking an experienced Ecologist to contribute to our client's ecology consultancy team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in ecology or environmental science, with expertise in conducting wildlife surveys and botanical identification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field surveys using UKHab assessments, Biodiversity Net Gain condition assessments, and protected species surveys
  • Use software like Kaleidoscope, QGIS or CorelDRAW to analyze data and create reports
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality ecology services to clients
  • Stay up-to-date with environmental legislation, planning processes, EIAs and HRAs
