We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our Financial Reporting team at Nationwide Building Society.
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing on the team vision, ensuring that our reporting is always delivered on time, in line with regulatory requirements and free from errors.
This is a key role within the team, and the successful candidate will be accountable for reviewing work and running processes which may incorporate inputs from multiple contributors across the Society.
Key Responsibilities- Execute on the team vision and ensure timely delivery of high-quality financial reports
- Review and manage the work of team members, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior leaders and external auditors
- Manage multiple conflicting priorities and identify the right course of action for the Society
- Work closely with colleagues and senior leaders within the Financial Reporting team to achieve team goals
- Experience as an accountant with a relevant qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills, at all levels of the organisation
- Ability to make decisions independently, keeping relevant parties informed
- Experience of working within a large corporate organisation
