About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Innovator and Strategy Lead to join our team at ABM UK. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a crucial role in driving our mission to enhance the operational efficiency and sustainability of our clients' environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sustainability Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies that align with our clients' goals, enhancing their environmental performance and fostering a culture of sustainability within the organization.
  • Project Management: Spearhead projects that contribute to sustainable growth, leveraging your expertise to analyse current practices, assess opportunities for improvement, and drive impactful initiatives.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with clients, cross-functional teams, and industry stakeholders to deliver tailored sustainability solutions that meet their needs and expectations.
  • Data Analysis and Performance Tracking: Oversee the collection, analysis, and management of sustainability-related data to track performance and inform decision-making.
  • Leadership and Training: Educate and train employees at all levels on sustainability goals, practices, and their role in achieving them, ensuring they are motivated, resourced, and aligned with the organization's strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the Facilities Management Sector: Proven experience in sustainability consulting or solutions development, ideally in a leadership role, with a strong understanding of the facilities management sector.
  • Sustainability Expertise: Strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks and reporting standards, demonstrated ability to develop and implement sustainability strategies that drive results.
  • Project Management Skills: Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
