Clinical Medicines Specialist

Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Clinical Medicines Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the community health services, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients have access to high-quality clinical medicines management.
As a Clinical Medicines Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to work in different localities within the Hertfordshire division, promoting safe and secure handling and storage of medicines. You will maintain high standards within Community Health Services by ensuring compliance with local and national policy and medicines legislation.
Main Duties:

Person Specification:
Education:- Professional registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Technician.
- BTEC or NVQ Level 3 in pharmaceutical services or equivalent.
- Extensive post-qualification hospital experience.
- Primary and Community Health experience.
- Understanding of the NHS and political climate.
- Knowledge of all regulations and legislation and good practice in relation to medicines, Controlled Drugs, and FP10 Prescriptions.
- Excellent communicator - both verbal and written including presentation skills.
- Ability to provide and receive complex information on medicines use from a variety of settings.
