About the Role

Vertical Advantage is seeking a highly skilled National Account Development Manager to join our team in London. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with top UK and international customers, driving business growth through strategic category management insights.

The successful candidate will have experience in FMCG National Account Management, specifically managing top 4 grocery or convenience accounts. They will be responsible for delivering exceptional support and service to buying teams, creating and executing customer Joint Business Plans to achieve volume, revenue, profit, and distribution targets across multiple brands and formats.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying and acting upon growth opportunities, using commercial acumen, creativity, and cross-functional collaboration skills. They will also possess strong presentation and communication skills, as well as the ability to use shopper, category, and consumer data to drive insight and successful action plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with top UK and international customers
  • Drive business growth through strategic category management insights
  • Create and execute customer Joint Business Plans to achieve targets
  • Analyze and act upon market trends and competitor activity

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented National Account Development Manager to join Vertical Advantage's team in London. The salary for this role is approximately £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
