Role Summary
Croydon Education Partnership seeks a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support our students with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
  1. Providing one-to-one support to students with SEND, tailoring their educational experience to meet their individual needs;
  2. Assisting teachers in the classroom, contributing to lesson planning and delivery;
  3. Maintaining a safe and orderly environment, both within the classroom and during playground supervision.


Requirements
To excel in this role, candidates must possess:
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification/experience;
  • Proven experience working in primary school settings, preferably with students with SEND;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality education and creating a supportive learning environment.
