Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Nurse to join our team as a Paediatric Nurse Manager. As a Paediatric Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for the overall provision of complex care, creating personalised care plans for each service user, and working closely with a core team of carers to train and support them with their clinical skills and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver a tailored care plan specific to an individual client's needs
  • Effectively manage the multidisciplinary team through strong communication and teamwork
  • Provide ongoing monitoring, support, and assessment of clients' physical and physiological needs within your caseload
  • Build and maintain sophisticated relationships with clients and family members
  • Work closely with community teams, CHC nurses, and CCG commissioners to establish and maintain bespoke packages of care

Requirements:

  • Be an RSCN with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the UK with an active NMC PIN
  • Possess a supportive management style that can bring out the best in others
  • Have up-to-date experience of tracheostomy care and ventilators
  • Have advanced communication skills verbally and written to liaise effectively with patients, families, and the MDT
  • A full UK Driving Licence is essential
