Maintenance Craftsman

About the Role:

• This Maintenance Craftsman opportunity is available with Combined Facilities Management Ltd, based in Northern Ireland.

As a skilled tradesperson, you will be responsible for delivering first-class maintenance repairs efficiently and cost-effectively. Your duties will include 1st and 2nd fix work, void and tenanted property maintenance, and working collaboratively with team members to provide excellent customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver minor building and maintenance joinery services to meet client needs.
• Perform 1st and 2nd fix duties, including ironmongery repairs, kitchen installation, and door installation.
• Maintain high health and safety standards and use relevant safety equipment.
• Work on void and tenanted properties, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Collaborate with site supervisors to achieve client objectives.
• Contribute to maintaining clean and tidy work areas.
• Complete and submit relevant documentation electronically or manually.

Requirements:

• Be time served or hold a relevant qualification in joinery, demonstrating practical experience.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of delivering minor building and maintenance joinery services.
• Hold a valid CSR Card.
• Be available for out-of-hours callouts on a rotational basis.
• Possess a full driving licence.
• Previous experience in the social housing sector is desirable.

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this Maintenance Craftsman position is £35,000-£45,000, depending on experience.
