Job Summary

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our Upcycling Team in Flint. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering adults with learning disabilities to learn new skills and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide physical and emotional support to individuals with learning disabilities
  • Assist with household tasks and personal care
  • Support individuals with healthcare needs, including medication administration
  • Encourage and support individuals to engage in leisure, home, and work-related activities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide flexible services that meet the needs of individuals

Requirements

  • Good listening skills and a practical, caring approach
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to use IT systems
  • Ability to work positively with individuals, families, and friends
  • Desirable: full UK driving licence and ability to speak Welsh
