Job Description

This Electrical Equipment Technician Lead role supports production continuity by conducting planned and reactive maintenance tasks with an electrical bias. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, organizational aptitude, and leadership abilities.

The team focuses on delivering a best-in-class experience to customers while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The successful candidate will contribute to this effort by ensuring all employees adhere to Company Health & Safety and Environmental policies.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure all employees follow Company Health & Safety and Environmental policies.
  2. Support real-time problem resolution and troubleshooting without management's direct involvement.
  3. Collaborate with suppliers to source required parts and materials.
  4. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment using the CORE operating system.
  5. Fault find on industrial equipment, focusing on electrical schematic drawings and PLC experience.
  6. Install and test electrical installations in an industrial setting on LV systems at 230v and 400v AC.
Requirements:
  1. Apprentice-trained City & Guilds or equivalent / time-served experience with industry exposure.
  2. Leadership skills (advantageous).
  3. Excellent communication skills.
  4. Organizational abilities.
  5. Computer skills preferred.
