Gregory Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Class 1 (CE) Driver to join our team on a weekend basis.

As a Weekend Class 1 Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods to our retail clients. Your responsibilities will include operating curtain side and box trailers on both single and double deck configurations, navigating various routes, and maintaining excellent communication with our transport team.

Responsibilities:
  • Delivering a diverse range of products to retail stores using curtain side and box trailers on single and double-deck configurations.
  • Maintaining regular contact with the transport team to provide updates on progress and manage customer expectations effectively.
  • Participating in scheduled training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Valid UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence.
  • Current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Experience in delivering loads directly to client sites is highly advantageous.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively under deadlines.
  • Confident, polite, and a team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Good geographical knowledge and navigational abilities.
  • A physically fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated individual.
