Senior Software Development Engineer - IAM

Barclays is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to join our IAM team in Glasgow. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the acceleration of our new digital platform capability, transforming and modernising our digital estate to build a market-leading digital offering with customer experience at its heart.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the provision of customer service through various communication channels, including chat, email, and phone.
  2. Develop and implement customer care procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain efficient operations.
  3. Resolve customer inquiries and issues related to the bank's products and services, including account balances, transactions, and payments.
  4. Develop and execute reports and presentations on customer care performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  5. Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
  6. Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does.
