Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Mechanical Fitter. The role involves building, servicing, and installing rotational test equipment, as well as repairing and refurbishing returned equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, service, and install rotational test equipment
  • Repair and refurbish returned equipment
  • Install new and reconditioned equipment at customer premises

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in dynamometer servicing or similar rotating machinery
  • Understanding of engine and component testing theory
  • Knowledge of oil injection principles and hydraulic/pneumatic systems
  • Experience using machine tools (lathe, drill, etc.) and measuring equipment
  • Ability to read complex technical engineering drawings
  • Apprentice-trained or equivalent education level
  • Full driving license and ability to work independently

Benefits:

  • Estimated salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per year
  • Auto Enrolment Pension with 8% company contribution
  • 33 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays
  • Sick pay after probationary period
