About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Associate Director/Director, Project Management to join our established healthcare sector team.

Job Description

This is a client-facing role responsible for leading other team members, managing consultants/project stakeholders, and working with the project director to develop client strategies. You will oversee project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring timely and budgeted execution.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Lead large, diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Commercial Acumen: Manage project budgets, monitor financial performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
  • Sustainability: Champion Mace's values of safety first, quality, and sustainability, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven track record in delivering healthcare sector projects under NEC contracts, with experience in project management, commercial management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Credentials: Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE, or equivalent, with NEC4 ECC project manager accreditation and deep property or infrastructure project management expertise.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in managing large teams and driving business growth.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the healthcare sector, carbon and sustainability considerations, and best practices in project management.
