Cyber Security Specialist

Job Summary:
Volaris Group is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to safeguard our organization against cyber threats. This role involves reviewing issues and threats across multiple security systems, recognizing threat actors, tactics, and techniques, and formulating a holistic overview for our businesses and their industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze threats across multiple security systems
- Recognize threat actors, tactics, and techniques
- Formulate a holistic overview for our businesses and their industries
- Provide recommendations to address identified issues
- Implement and document solutions to bolster our security posture
- Collaborate with our reporting team to ensure accurate visualization and output
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Microsoft PowerShell and Python
- Demonstrate and show an understanding of key cybersecurity frameworks
- Experience managing credential leakage and continuous monitoring platforms
- Hands-on experience with security tools including M365, EDR, firewalls, web security gateway, and security email gateway
- Ability to document findings, set guidelines, and create documentation for processes and procedures
- Excellent communication skills to articulate threat analysis findings and recommendations
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- CISSP or equivalent certification
- Broad understanding of security principles and technologies with hands-on experience with security tools
