About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team as a Behaviour Mentor. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in fostering positive behaviour and creating a supportive atmosphere for students.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in behaviour management and be able to implement strategies, interventions, and support plans to address challenging behaviour. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to promote a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide targeted support to students to address challenging behaviour.
- Implement and monitor individual behaviour support plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies to address specific needs.
- Foster positive relationships with students to encourage their social and emotional development.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide behaviour initiatives.
- Provide feedback to teachers and parents on the progress of behaviour support plans.
