Job Title: Senior Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our team at Recruitment Solutions (NW) Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial reporting, support, and guidance to our local management teams.

Job Description

The Senior Analyst will support the Operations Senior Finance Manager in maintaining financial controls, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing financial analysis to inform business decisions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure financial controls are robustly maintained.
  • Month end accounting & reporting activities, typically journals, analysis, investigation.
  • Financial analysis of monthly results, project plans, ad-hoc requests (variances v budget, forecast and plans) and management briefings.
  • Support production of key performance indicators including unit costs & total delivered cost.
  • Lead the financial section of the regular monthly meetings with key suppliers.
  • Ensure all proposed savings projects, kaizen projects and gainshare proposals are validated and on completion ensure valuations are correct.
  • Verify Outbound freight costs and support any proposed tender activities to reduce future costs.
  • Capital investment project assessments, approval and reporting.
  • Financial administration, review & authorization activities, including purchase orders, headcount approvals, internal procedures, report pack preparation, etc.
  • Attend & where necessary lead finance meetings with local managers, in person and remotely.
  • Deputise for the Senior Operations Finance Manager when required.

Requirements:

  • In-depth accounting & reporting experience within a large company environment with demanding timetables.
  • Good IT & strong MS Office skills.
