We are seeking a Care Assistant to join our award-winning team, focusing on delivering high standards of personal care and supporting the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.

About the Job

  1. Deliver excellent standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team.
  2. Assist residents with their personal hygiene care, promoting independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
  3. Recognize and understand clinical risk areas, such as weight loss, pressure sores, and signs of infection, and escalate identified risks in a timely manner.
  4. Practice safe systems of work across a range of tasks, maintaining a safe environment for residents and staff.

Requirements

  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, to collaborate with colleagues and residents.
  • Demonstrating initiative and respect towards residents and other people in the home.
  • Being an efficient worker who can carry reasonable instructions from other team members.
  • Being adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
