Care Home Deputy Manager Job Description

**Job Title:** Clinical Deputy Home Manager

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Deputy Home Manager to join our team at Smartcall Healthcare Ltd. As a Clinical Deputy Home Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to our residents and supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the care home.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the care team, ensuring that high standards of care are maintained at all times.

* Work closely with the Home Manager to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents.

* Ensure that all care staff are trained and supported to provide the highest level of care.

* Maintain accurate and detailed care records, ensuring that all relevant information is up-to-date and easily accessible.

* Work collaboratively with other departments, such as nursing, therapy, and activities, to ensure that our residents receive a holistic and person-centered approach to care.

* Participate in the recruitment and selection of new staff, ensuring that we attract and retain the best talent in the industry.

* Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

**Requirements:**

* Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC pin.

* Proven experience as a Deputy Manager or Senior Nurse in a care home setting.

* Excellent clinical skills and a strong understanding of care standards and regulations.

* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and other stakeholders.

* Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing circumstances, prioritizing the needs of our residents at all times.
