Senior Children's Home Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated children's home support worker to provide outstanding care and support to our young people. As a Senior Children's Home Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing and therapeutic environment that allows our young people to achieve amazing outcomes.
Our Nelson home is a solo service, providing therapeutic care for a young person who may initially struggle to live in a larger group home and with other children. We are looking for someone who can provide a high level of childcare and support our young person to achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing a safe and supportive environment for our young people
* Developing and implementing individual care plans to meet the needs of our young people
* Working closely with our team to provide a comprehensive support package for our young people
* Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues to our management team

Key requirements include:
* A minimum of 12 months experience in a children's residential care home
* A Level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (or close to completion)
* A full driving licence issued in the UK
* The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
