About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our team at Core System. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in supporting our chefs and front-of-house staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation, including basic cooking and food handling tasks.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and efficient kitchen environment, including washing up, cleaning, and clearing all kitchen areas.
  • Waste Management: Empty bins, sweep, and mop floors to ensure a safe and hygienic working environment.
  • Delivery and Storage: Unload and store deliveries, ensuring all equipment is clean and properly stored.
  • Food Safety: Ensure all food handling and preparation practices meet high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Working Hours

We offer a range of shifts to suit your availability, including Monday to Friday, 10:30am-3:30pm, with a 30-minute break. Occasional shifts may run later, depending on functions and events.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. A food hygiene certificate is preferred but not essential.
