Active Care Group is seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist to join our team at the Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre (FBIRC). As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide outstanding, outcome-based rehabilitation care to patients with acquired brain injury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the multidisciplinary team in the care and treatment of patients, including weekly ward round reviews.
  • Provide supervision to junior doctors and contribute to the development of rehabilitation pathways across the South West region.
  • Attend family meetings, case review meetings, and discharge planning meetings as required.
  • Participate in service development through research, innovation, and local audit.

Requirements:

  • Full registration with the GMC with a licence to practice.
  • MRCP and CCT in Rehabilitation Medicine.
  • Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation setting treating those with neurological or brain injury.
  • Evidenced-based practice and confidence in engaging internal and external stakeholders.

What We Offer:

  • A salary of £190,000 plus £30,000 welcome bonus for the Medical Director position.

  • Annual leave of 32 days (plus bank holidays) pro-rata for equivalent service.
