We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a 2-form entry Primary School in the BS5 area of Bristol. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with children with SEND needs, particularly ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.

The ideal candidate will be a team player who can work closely with KS2 pupils, providing individualized support and adapting to the needs of each child. They will be able to communicate effectively with the Class Teacher and SENCo to ensure the best possible outcomes for the pupils.

The role involves primarily supporting SEND children on a 1:1 basis, as well as in small groups or whole class settings. The successful candidate will be patient, nurturing, and able to care for the individual child throughout the school day.

We are looking for someone who has high expectations of the pupils they work with, is able to communicate effectively, and is able to meet the needs of the child through innovative teaching methods. The successful candidate will also be able to liaise with the SENCo for additional activities and show initiative and flexibility in their work.
