We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Costain Group PLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering the Design & Project Function of a specialist Nuclear Engineering Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engineering design across a number of work categories, including nuclear ventilation, mechanical handling, nuclear process equipment vessels, and machinery.
  • Work closely with our clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement sustainable solutions that minimize environmental impact.
  • Ensure compliance with UK technical regulatory standards and global best practice.
  • Champion Sustainability, Safety, Health, and Environment by putting personal safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.
Requirements
  • HNC or Degree qualified in mechanical engineering.
  • 12 years experience in mechanical nuclear engineering.
  • Proficiency in the delivery of engineering design across a number of work categories.
  • Experience in one of the following: nuclear ventilation, mechanical handling, nuclear process equipment vessels, or machinery.
  • Knowledge and understanding of UK technical regulatory standards and global best practice.
