WH Finance Ltd is seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant to join their small and friendly team in Sheffield. The successful candidate will report to the Finance Manager and be responsible for various financial tasks.
The role will involve taking the lead on payroll preparation, processing purchase invoices, orders, and delivery notes, as well as performing general ad-hoc duties. The ideal candidate will have experience with payroll systems, including Sage Payroll and Sage Accounts, and be proficient in Purchase Ledger Systems and data entry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare weekly payroll and process purchase invoices, orders, and delivery notes
- Perform general ad-hoc duties as required
- Work effectively in a team environment
- Develop and maintain accurate financial records
Requirements:
- Experience with payroll preparation and systems
- Knowledge of Sage Payroll and Sage Accounts
- Knowledge and experience of Purchase Ledger Systems and data entry
- Excellent IT skills
- Good communication skills
