We are looking for a skilled and motivated Postperson to join our team at Royal Mail. As a Postperson, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers across Manchester South Delivery Office.
About the Role
This is a permanent position that requires you to work 30 hours per week, 5 days a week, between 08:30 and 14:30. You will be required to work 1 in 4 Sundays due to operational demand.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive monthly salary equivalent to an hourly rate of £12.54p/hr, overtime paid at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate, and 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata). We also provide full uniform, company pension scheme, and lots of opportunity to develop a career.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong sense of community, be happy walking for long periods, and have a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points. You will also need to be upbeat, independent, and self-motivated, with excellent customer service skills.
